Happy 18th Birthday, Trushna!!!

Trushna, we've known each other for 18 years now. Holy heavens!

18 years is a long time and inevitably we've had our share of falling outs but they're always forgotten as quickly as they start. You're not like my sister, you are my sister. There's no doubt about it. I know we sometimes get on each other's nerves but that's just what sisters do. It's not often you have someone with whom you can share your innermost thoughts. Every crazy dream, every silly story. Being able to talk about stuff that happened 2 or 5 or 10 or 15, maybe more years ago is a wonderful thing because hardly anyone our age has a friend they can do that with. I know I don't need to tell you but we're pretty damn special! ;) Being the same age as you really does have its perks. Going through school together, that scary feeling of starting year 7, becoming teenagers, and now young ladies :P granted we don't always make the best decisions when we're together but I know that I'll always have you going through the same stuff with me and it's really reassuring. You cheer me up when I'm stressed out with work and boost my confidence when I want to give up. I'm not much of a hugger but you're always on hand to give me them anyway. You find me funny even when I'm not trying to be. They're little things but I notice them and they're important to me. They say if you're friends with someone for more than 8 years you're likely to be friends forever.. We hit that mark 10 years ago! Trushna, darling.. These 18 years have been brilliant, let's make the next 18 even better!
