I MET SUNSHINE IN HUMAN FORM (And other things that happened at Wolfs Bane 3)

So I recently went to a Teen Wolf convention called Wolfs Bane 3. For those of you who don't know about cons, they're basically a place where all fangirls/boys come together to obsess about their mutual love of, in this case, Teen Wolf. The event includes things like photo ops, lounges, panels, autographs and parties and is graced with the presence of many TW cast members.

It was a 3 day event from Friday 17th – Sunday 19th July, hosted by Rogue Events at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel.

I cannot fault the guest list. There were some cancellations nearer the date but to Rogue's credit, they did find replacements and good ones too! Ian Bohen, JR Bourne, Jill Wagner, Eaddy Mays, Keahu Kahuanui, Gage Golightly, Dylan Sprayberry and my faves Colton Haynes and Mr Teen Wolf himself; Tyler Posey, were all present... Yes, that’s right, I spent the weekend with TYLER POSEY aka Sunshine in Human Form.

The cast were SO sweet and funny. Aside from the fact my self esteem dropped to hell when I saw them (THEY ALL LOOK AIRBRUSHED), they really are the best cast you could meet. It was such an amazing feeling being able to unleash your inner fangirl, no questions asked, no judgement passed.

So here are my highlights from the weekend:

My lounge with Posey: (Heads up, telling your parents you bought a "lounge with Tyler Posey" is not the best idea) (sounds kinda dodge)
JR called me sweetheart and winked at me
Colton said it was nice to meet me
Posey hugged me
Jill said I had a beautiful name

MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT:

Okay so I was queuing for my photo with Posey and Colton and I caught Posey’s eye. Naturally I smiled at him and he grinned back at me. That’s all cool. I could deal with that (just about). But then he nudged Colton (whose back was facing me), whispered something to him and they both quickly turned and smiled at me.

What Posey said to Colton will forever remain a mystery, however, I like to believe Posey fell in love with me at first sight and Colton smiled at me because he wanted to be the best man at our wedding. I’m gonna go with that version until Posey tells me otherwise. *Ahem*

As you can imagine, it was a pretty pricey weekend. I only live 15 minutes away from the hotel so I went home each night. But I met people who'd spent hundreds in travel/accommodation just to be there that weekend. As well as this, extras such as photos, lounges, and “special” autographs definitely added up. It’s a lot of money but everyone I asked said it was definitely worth it.

Would I go again? HELL YES. To say it was an unforgettable experience would be a huge understatement. Not only did it make me feel more confident at times (going on my own and all), but it was a really lovely, fun atmosphere and I GOT TO HUG TYLER POSEY. Also, I met some wonderful people who I now talk to on Twitter quite often. I should probably start saving up for Wolfs Bane 4!
